Log construction is one of the oldest methods of building houses, dating back to time immemorial. The oldest structure on Earth is a Chinese log church, standing for 3,000 years. From an ecological perspective, it is the most energy-efficient construction method, resulting in the best environmental footprint. This means that the least amount of environmentally harmful energy is used, from raw material extraction to reintegration into nature. Wood has the remarkable property of binding CO2 in its cells, allowing a single tree to store as much carbon dioxide in its lifetime as a mid-range car emits in 20,000 km. Over time, numerous log construction techniques have been developed, enabling the creation of beautiful homes and harmonious living spaces. We therefore also build all types of log houses.
